Fees

There is NO set celebrant fee
for civil ceremonies in Australia

 

A great deal of time goes into ensuring that your ceremony is drafted according to your individual requirements.  As a general guide, a minimum of at LEAST 20 hours+ goes into the preparation of every wedding ceremony.  Every aspect is considered carefully to ensure that it is conducted to the highest professional standards and that it complies fully with the laws of marriage in Australia, in accordance with the provisions of the Marriage Act 1961.

My current* standard fee is $550.00 (inclusive of GST).         *As at 01 July 2022

Standard Inclusions
  • Initial Interview in the privacy of your home or other place of your choosing

  • Attending to all legal requirements and preparation of legal documentation

  • Explanation of legal responsibilities, including legal wording to be incorporated into the ceremony

  • Sample readings, poetry, music and/or other elements for your consideration

  • Signing table, white table linen and two white chairs

  • Quality Chaiyo PA system (incl. microphone(s))

  • Research and preparation of your ceremony

  • Sourcing your chosen music and transferring to audio medium

  • All stationery, including official "Presentation" Certificate of Marriage

  • Unlimited email, telephone or virtual (Zoom or Microsoft Teams) communication

  • Optional rehearsal at your venue 14 days prior to your wedding

  • Personalised "Ceremony Folder" containing a bound copy of your ceremony

  • Travel to and from wedding venue

  • Submitting paperwork to Registrar of Births, Deaths & Marriages, WA

  • Public Liability Insurance

  • Administrative fees levied by Attorney-General's Department and professional celebrant association, Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants.
