There is NO set celebrant fee for civil ceremonies in Australia.

"What you pay for is what you get" ...

Choosing the cheapest celebrant doesn't guarantee you'll get a professional celebrant, one who's 100% committed to ensuring that YOUR ceremony is the most important he or she has ever officiated at.  So before you engage the services of any celebrant, be sure you find out what their fee actually includes ... and more importantly, what it doesn't!

Let's face it, we all know that weddings can be an expensive exercise.  The overall cost of getting married these days can sometimes be quite daunting, and marriage itself is often postponed in favour of a deposit on your first home, travel or a family.

But the good news is that your ceremony doesn’t have to break the bank!  I understand you want high-quality, professional service without the ridiculous price tag.

A Marriage Celebrant’s fee is important, and should be both affordable and competitive, whilst still offering a high level of friendly, personalised yet professional service.

Few people, however, actually realise or appreciate the time and resources invested by a celebrant to create a unique ceremony.  Like any business, a celebrant incurs a large amount of 'operating costs', many of which are absorbed in the course of conducting his or her business.  Even just in respect to the ceremony alone, a great deal of time goes into ensuring that the ceremony you ultimately choose is tailor-made according to your specific wishes.  Every aspect of your ceremony is considered carefully to ensure that it is conducted to the highest professional standards and that it complies fully with the laws of marriage in Australia, in accordance with the provisions of the Marriage Act 1961.

Before you decide to book with any celebrant, you should check what the quoted fee actually includes.

Professional Fees     (inclusive of GST)            All fees quoted are in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS (AUD)
